Your Story
I was out one night with friends and wasn't feeling good. I was encouraged to go home by my best friend. I told him I would as long as he found a ride home. He searched the bar for a ride. Then, came back with Aaron. After talking for a little while Aaron and I ended up spending that entire July 4th weekend together.
Why did you select Eastholme?
We chose Eastholme because of the family and historical value of the site. It allowed for all of our family members to have a beautiful place to stay together while in town. All but a few of our guests are from out of state.
THE DETAILS
Ceremony
After 75 degree weather all week, the morning of our wedding started off with a slight sprinkle and 45 degrees. The rain stopped long enough for us to conduct the ceremony and thankfully every one participated without complaint. The funniest part of the ceremony was that I was so cold that I had a death grip on Aaron's arm throughout the entire vow exchange.
Reception
After we all convened inside for dinner and cake, the photographer thought it would be a great idea to take a picture of all of our blue tongues. The cake had a dark blue icing covering it.

Memorable Moments
My matron of honor (my mother) forgot Aaron's ring and had to run inside to get it during the ceremony. Our nephew, Spencer took his first steps right after the reception. The bride's toast to the groom was extremely heartfelt.
Your Advise to Couples Just Starting to Plan Their Wedding
Heed all advice from Deborah. She will not lead you astray. Keep in mind that the wedding is for you, the couple, not for your family. Make yourselves happy first. During the first month of planning, make a list of all tasks that need to be accomplished and then schedule when those tasks need to be completed. Most of all stick to your schedule.
